In this keynote, Job van den Berg explores how AI is transforming faster than any technology in history — and why the next 1000 days will determine which organizations lead and which fall behind. Drawing on his work as co-founder of Ai.nl, eBrain, and The Automation Group, and his direct insights from AI leaders from the US, China and the EU he outlines the accelerating shift from predictive to generative and now to agentic AI — systems capable of autonomously executing complex tasks once reserved for humans.
Job emphasizes that success in this new era won’t come from understanding AI, but from adopting it — embedding intelligent systems into everyday workflows, decisions, and strategies. The organizations that act now will define the standards, efficiencies, and innovations of the coming decade. This keynote offers a clear roadmap for navigating those 1000 days: turning AI from a buzzword into a competitive advantage.

True sustainable tourism goes beyond surface-level solutions such as reducing CO₂ emissions and choosing eco-friendly travel options. True sustainability starts with ourselves; how we, as travelers and tourism professionals, relate to inhabitants of the destinations and to our planet. In this keynote, I will reveal how the colonial past continues to shape the ways we travel, tell stories and relate to others.
I shed light on how our travel narratives, advertisements, and practices are part of a deeper pattern of inequality. I will address questions such as: How do I take responsibility for my privileges, as an individual and a travel organization? What is the impact of my presence, behavior, and choices abroad? How can I contribute to more equitable forms of travel, storytelling and encounters? Together, we will go inward and explore what is needed to move towards genuine, equal collaboration with local partners and imagine a more inclusive future for tourism.

Daisy reveals what flying really costs. Air travel is too cheap, because the environmental and social damage remains unpaid, while those costs are real and borne by society and future generations. With true pricing, we can make these hidden impacts visible and calculate a fairer ticket price. Together with experts in sustainable marketing and true pricing research, she unpacks how the method works, what travellers are willing to pay and how true pricing is already used in other sectors to drive change. She also explores why major investments in cleaner aviation technologies and new ways of flying are essential, and how making air travel more sustainable can ultimately bring those hidden costs down. Expect clear insights, grounded examples and a practical look at how true pricing can reshape the future of travel.
